I discovered the healing power of yoga for the body, mind, and soul when I began attending regular yoga classes for stress relief about a decade ago. The practice of yoga sparked a fire within me to find out my true potential and how to live my life’s purpose to serve others.  

Therefore, I started delving deeper into the world of yoga and mindfulness by signing up for workshops and eventually getting my yoga teacher training for both adults and kids. When I was living in Taipei, Taiwan, I joined Mindful Taipei, a not-for-profit organization for the international community. I studied and practiced meditation and mindfulness with my fellow experienced members and under the guidance of a qigong, Zen and Tibetan Buddhist teacher.

When I returned to Canada I continued to practice mindfulness on my own and with others, and eventually got certified as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher in 2020. I also integrated yoga and mindfulness into my classroom, and taught yoga classes to kids, preteens, teens, and adults in a variety of settings and events (e.g. yoga studios, community centers, elementary and secondary schools, daycare summer camps, wellness evenings, and retreats).

You can often find me hiking, cycling or gardening outdoors when I have free time. I believe in the importance of being grounded and connected to nature, which contributes to our overall well-being.
